AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS

These Terms of Service govern your use of houseofoks.ca and purchases made from House of OKS. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Shipping, Cancellations & Returns Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or place an order.

ELIGIBILITY

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use this website and make purchases only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

PRODUCTS AND COSMETIC INFORMATION

House of OKS offers handcrafted cosmetic and body-care products.

Our products are for external use only. Please review all ingredient information, directions and warnings before use. Avoid contact with the eyes and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Contact a qualified healthcare professional if you have concerns about using a product or experience a reaction.

Information provided on this website is for general product information only. Our products and website content are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Because our products are handcrafted in small batches, minor differences in colour, texture or appearance may occur. These natural variations do not affect the intended quality or use of the product.

We make reasonable efforts to display product photographs and colours accurately, but their appearance may vary depending on your screen and device settings.

PRICES, TAXES AND CURRENCY

All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges and available delivery options will be shown before you complete checkout. You will have an opportunity to review the total cost before placing your order.

If an obvious pricing or product-information error occurs, we may correct it before accepting the order. If payment has already been processed, we will notify you and provide the option to accept the corrected information or receive a full refund.

ORDERS

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.

We may cancel or limit an order when:

• A product is unavailable
• There is an obvious pricing or listing error
• Payment cannot be authorized
• Fraud or unauthorized activity is reasonably suspected
• The order would violate applicable law

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, the amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing, shipping and contact information.

ORDER AVAILABILITY & PRE-ORDERS

The House of OKS Discovery Set is available to order now, subject to stock. Tracking information will be emailed when an order ships. Customers who select local pickup will receive an email when their order is ready.

Our 50 mL and 200 mL whipped body butter jars are currently available for pre-order and are not yet ready for shipment or pickup. Estimated dispatch timing is shown on each product page. If we anticipate a delay, we will contact you using the email address associated with your order. You may request cancellation and a full refund before the pre-order ships or is prepared for pickup.

An order is confirmed when checkout and payment are successfully completed. For more information, please see our Shipping, Cancellations & Returns Policy.

PAYMENT

Payments are processed through the payment methods displayed at checkout. By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize the applicable charges.

House of OKS does not directly store complete payment-card information when payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.

SHIPPING AND LOCAL PICKUP

Shipping charges, available delivery methods and local-pickup options are displayed during checkout.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Pre-orders may be cancelled for a full refund before they ship or are prepared for pickup.

Because body-care products are personal-use cosmetic products, opened or used products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons. Discovery Sets are final sale after shipment or pickup except when an order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available to you under Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer-protection laws.

WEBSITE USE

You agree not to:

• Use this website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to interfere with the website’s operation or security
• Introduce malicious software, code or other harmful material
• Access another person’s account or information without permission
• Copy, scrape or commercially exploit website content without written permission
• Misrepresent your identity or provide knowingly false information

We may restrict access to the website when reasonably necessary to protect House of OKS, our customers or the website.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The House of OKS name, branding, logos, product photography, website design, written content and other original materials are owned by or licensed to House of OKS and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, sell, distribute or commercially use our content without prior written permission.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

This website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, delivery providers and social-media platforms. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

House of OKS is not responsible for the content or practices of independent third-party websites.

WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate, secure and available. However, we cannot guarantee that it will always operate without interruptions, delays or technical errors.

We may temporarily suspend or update the website for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, House of OKS will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from website interruptions, third-party services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

SEVERABILITY

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
